CCP - Monroeville Pediatric Associates and CCP - White Oak are pleased to welcome four new providers to our practice. This growth in providers will allow us to better serve all of our patients and be more available when your child needs us most.
Caitlin Koerber, MD Prior to joining CCP, Caitlin Koerber, MD was a senior pediatric resident at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. She received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and her undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College, where she majored in English literature and minored in biology and chemistry.
Cara Karls, PA-C Cara Karls, PA-C received her bachelors of science in biology with a minor of chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh and masters of physician assistant studies at Seton Hill University. Prior to joining CCP, Cara practiced pediatrics in Grove City, Pa. since 2012. Cara is an active member of the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Cara is a native of Greensburg. She currently lives in Irwin with her husband and two cats. She loves to spend time with her family and enjoys baking.
Elysse Leriotis, CRNP Elysse Leriotis, CRNP attended Duquesne University where she received her undergraduate degree in nursing. She received her master of science in nursing and pediatric nurse practitioner degree from Drexel University. Prior to joining CCP, she worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC for over four years. She is a native Pittsburgher who enjoys exploring new things in and around the city. Outside of work, she enjoys being active, traveling, and photography. Elysse loves working with children and is looking forward to developing relationships with both her patients and families, while watching kids grow from infants to adults.
Adrienne Simak, CRNP Adrienne Simak, CRNP attended Robert Morris University where she obtained her undergraduate degree in nursing. She received her masters of science in nursing and family nurse practitioner from Carlow University. Prior to joining CCP, she worked as an RN in the NICU at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC and also as a CRNP in the Observation Unit at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Outside of work, Adrienne enjoys spending time with her children and family as well as yoga and traveling. She is excited to transition to the CCP team and is looking forward to developing long lasting relationships with her patients and families.

By visiting UPMC Children’s Express Care, our after-hours clinic, your child will receive the same specialized pediatric care you’ve come to expect from your UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics pediatrician. Open conveniently on evenings and weekends, your child can receive care for minor injuries and illnesses when your pediatrician’s office is closed for the day.
