Behavioral Health Services

UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics understands the complexities of behavioral health issues and the toll they can take on individuals and families. That’s why we provide multidisciplinary services within CCP offices that treat children with a variety of behavioral health issues in order to improve their quality of life and functioning at home and in the community.

Our collaborative team of pediatricians, psychologists, therapists and psychiatrists work together to provide complete evaluations of psychiatric disorders and brief evidence-based treatment for established patients of our CCP offices. Our experts will make necessary referrals when additional care is needed.

We use a variety of therapeutic techniques, including parent management training (PMT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and relaxation training. Talk with your CCP pediatrician today to learn more about our Behavioral Health program.
